Carrie holds a degree in Studio Art Photography. In 2023, Carrie and her husband Ted partnered with The Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Art, and Redline Contemporary Art Center of Denver to expand their Landscapes of the Body, a long-term project the two have been collaborating on for more than ten years.

Landscapes of the Body is an inclusive, body positive collection of black and white abstract photographic work celebrating diversity in age, body type, gender and physical ability. The duo will be expanding the work with an eye toward accessibility, creating tactile (touchable) versions of the images with 3d printers that will be exhibited alongside the traditionally framed prints. Audio descriptions for each photo are available, creating a true multisensorial approach to making visual art accessible for those who are blind or visually impaired.
